I’ve had a few unsuccessful experiences with waist shapers in the past — most of them were either too short for my torso (I’m 5’9″) or too soft to actually hold anything in. This one, however, did not disappoint! Honestly, I didn’t expect much when I ordered it, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The first layer of hook fasteners can be a hassle to close at first, but I like that they allow for size adjustment (three rows of hooks) and provide a secure fit. Once that’s done, the second layer with the zipper is much easier to put on and tightens everything even further, giving that extra support. The material feels sturdy and high quality, not flimsy like some others I’ve tried. I also appreciate the fabrics: the inside lining is soft (95% cotton + 5% spandex), while the outside is more structured and durable (82% nylon + 18% spandex).
It gives excellent coverage and support without rolling down or digging in. Comfort-wise, if you’ve tried waist trainers before, you know they’re not designed to be “comfortable.” I definitely wouldn’t sleep in this, but it’s manageable for an evening out or even a full day — and the difference is noticeable! I might even try it for workouts, although the “hand wash only” care instructions may hold me back from that.
Overall, this waist shaper feels durable, well-made, and effective — definitely worth it compared to the cheaper, softer versions I’ve tried before.

Cinches like crazy, do not size down at all!!

Got this for my daughter who is tiny but small was too small. She said is might be comfortable if she had a bigger size. And this smaller size did give her good back support. She thought it was well made, a quality corset, referring to the material, stitching, fasteners and zippers. But it was not as breathable and adjustable as she would like because it was a bit tight. And it did have a peculiar scent but she just drenched in her perfume. She said she would still wear it though.

I’m a petite 4’11. It fit very tightly on the loose setting. Definitely size up and remember that you can always tighten it down. I should’ve gotten the small instead of extra small. If it’s more comfortable when I’m not full but I can’t wear it for as long as I would like to because of how tight it is. If you get the right size, it’s easy to put on and works well. It gives great back support and I could tell the difference in my posture. While bending over it does scrunch up, but it doesn’t make it uncomfortable and it flattens back out once you’re back straight again, holding in place. $42 is a little expensive but it does work if you get the right size. In this case you’d rather it be too big than too small on the loosest setting.

I normally wear a size small, but with shapewear like this I find smalls can run a little big. I decided to size down to an XS, and while it’s definitely tight, that’s exactly what I wanted. The multiple rows of hook-and-eye closures are super helpful if you size down—it gives you some flexibility to start looser and tighten over time.
The fit pulls everything in, gives me the snug support I was hoping for, and even helps improve my posture naturally. It’s not the most comfortable thing to lounge in for hours, but for workouts or waist training, it feels solid and does the job.

This waist trainer corset is very well made. It compares to one I paid triple for, and is just as strong and does a very good job. The hook and eye closures have 3 rows, plus the zipper cover over. The boning is flexible. Order your size based on the charts, not your dress size. I tried it on over my medium weight sweater to show the fit. I could still breathe in this without losing the shaping fit. It’s easy to use, has no odd smells, is comfortable to wear, and holds its shape very well.

Sizing is too small. Go up 2 sizes than what the size chart says. It is well made but I would have to remove a couple of my ribs in order to close it on the largest setting.

Looks nice, feels nice, wanted to love this. But at a 3x, it was just way too small for me. For reference, I generally am between a 22-24 (Torrid 3, occasionally a 4). As much as I wanted to love this, it was nowhere near big enough for me
