   I am new to wearing a corset but I feel that this corset fits perfectly, is far more comfortable to wear than I had expected and it was delivered sooner than expected. I am 4′ 11″, have about a 31 inch waist, ordered an XL in white and currently only tighten the laces so it fits snug, but not too tight to the point I have a hard time breathing, with about 2-3 inches left to close the back together. I am also petite so finding clothing that fits, especially lengthwise, is very difficult but this corset is just the right length!
   My reasons for buying a corset was:
   1) I have been trying to change up my wardrobe and found so many cute corsets that I would like to incorporate but I wanted something to test out before I commit to buying several corsets. This white corset looked affordable and versatile in what it could be worn with.
   2) I like the silhouette a corset gives.
   3) I study for long periods of time (because solving complex math and physics problems is time consuming) which can cause backaches from unintentional slouching in addition to having a larger cup size than what is comfortably suitable for my petite frame. I read that a corset can help with posture and back support. I have tried core workouts to strengthen my muscles but I it never really helped my back.

   I have only had my corset for about a week and wear it 30 minutes a day because I want to get used to it slowly, as was recommended in the internet research I did. It does give me better posture while I wear it and I never realized just how much strain my back was constantly under until I put on the corset. I actually feel relieved when I wear it. I am happy with this corset and really like how it looks and makes me feel. I only wear it at home for now but have several outfits I intend on using it over. I have yet to try wearing it under something but it is super cute wearing over a variety of outfits, since white is one of those colors that can go with just about anything. I highly recommend this product and I will likely be buying several more but in different styles. I also recommend that people who are new to corsets research how to wear them and select the right size because several of the bad reviews I have read seem to be the result of not knowing how to wear or select a corset.

   Only been wearing it for 2 days but it feels great on. Unfortunetly i cannot fastetn it up without my husbands help. I cannot manage to use the hooks at the front when the corset is tightened so i have to slacken it off then fasten the front hooks and then my husband draws the laces up at the back.once on and fastened tight it feels comfortable and wore it the full day from 9-4 . I had purchased another corset before Christmas ( Not From This Company or Make) it was easier to put on just 3 rows of hook and eye fastening all down the front. It was great allthough a little long in the body but within 4 weeks of wearing it i was wearing it on the third row of hooks. This was not because i had lost weight or reshaped my waist but because it had too much elastic in and it had stretched so if you can manage to fasten the Camellias corset up or better still get your other half to help you im sure you will get a true result with daily wear. Although i have only wore it for 2 days i can feel the difference it is making. I would highly recommend this corset and if your on the shirt size its even better with it being designed for the short torso. Would buy again and recommend.

   I love it! Gives me a beautiful curve in an instant. I was worried of the quality first (due to some reviews), low price is usually associated with poor quality – I am impressed with how durable this product is (perhaps I should review again in a couple of months/year to truly test the quality) but it works wonders on me. I now love and embrace my new size with the help of this corset. I think I might buy a second pair so I have something to alternate.

   Not impressed, given to my friend as a gift and as soon as they tried it on the the stitching on the clasp ripped… I wouldn’t be that bothered by it if it wasn’t the first wear…

   This product is amazing! I have never tried waist training and wasn’t looking for a product to do this; I was just looking for something to smooth out my flabby tummy when wearing tight clothes since I’m not a huge fan of sit ups. Typically a shaper works fine for me. I don’t have a big stomach but since I’ve had my kid,I’m wider and If I gain weight it increases laterally (love handles) versus protruding forward and I gain in the lower abdomen because I had a c-section. I also keep a ton of back fat so for me it looks like I have a flat stomach (albeit jiggly) with back fat. The problem I run into is the shape wear sometimes roll down my back or I have to buy a full piece which is hell to get out of for the bathroom. But now that I have this I and have tried it on, I am in love and think I might try the “waist training” hype. ‘

   A few things … sizing: very true to size. if you are in between sizes i.e you are 30.5″ versus 30″ that’s where you might have an issue. That was the case for me. I initially went down because in my case the department store girdles I have bought in the past were never tight enough. When I got the girdle, there was literally a 1/2″ opening in the back after I put it on comfortably. Now I could close it but since I’m not use to wearing anything tight, I opted to return it for a size up. It might be worth noting that I had just come on my cycle and might have been extra bloated though… I received the size up and it fit perfect but now I don’t think I will have enough reduction opportunity because I can almost close this one too easily.. So that said if you are used to wearing a girdle or such and you are in between size it might be okay go a size down; if not then go a size up. At this price you can always order another one once you get comfortable which is my plan.

   Length: I ordered the short torso because the ones I have purchased in the past were always too long and irritated me when sitting down and if it wasn’t tight it created a bulge in the top part because the material bent at the lower end hitting my thigh when i sat down. I did measure my torso and I did fall within the recommended range for the short torso however, I do feel it’s slightly (perhaps an inch) too short in the front. The back is perfect length though. The reason I mention this is that if you have had a c-section like me this might create an issue because it will make the lower part where you are likely to bulge anyway bulge out more. Mine is very small and goes down from time to time depending on how i eat so fortunately this is an easy fix with a cheap panty girdle if I’m wearing something extremely tight. However if you have a huge muffin area issue, you might consider the normal one.. I might try the regular one and update my feedback later on this.

   Overall this is a great product. I showed my mom and she couldn’t believe I paid less than $100. She said it looks like what they had in her day. This is far better than anyone one I’ve purchased in department stores, lingerie stores etc. and, even better than the custom girdle i had made for a wedding (because this one i can continue to adjust as I lose or gain weight). Also, this looks sexy. I would not be bothered wearing this around my boyfriend and hell I could keep it on during sex lol.

   Wearing it with clothes:
   I have no problem wearing this with clothes. I just got my order today and I’m wearing it with a fitted shirt now with no issue. I just tucked the shoe lace under the bottom border. The material is pretty thick that you can’t see the lace when tucked under.

   Initially I ordered the black satin corset in a Large. My natural waist is about 30-31 inches. Using the sizing chart provided, theoretically I would naturally fit an XL and a L for cinching. However, the Amazon recommended sizing was suggesting an XXL. This was a bit confusing, so I went by the other comments that said size down from the chart and I ended up with the Large. When it arrived, I felt that the satin was attractive as an accessory, but too decorative and heavy to be worn next to the skin for extended periods of time. For wearing over clothing, like a blouse, the satin one would be a beautiful choice. I reordered the black mesh as it seemed more of a practical fabric, in a Large. Upon trying it over clothing, I realized it was on the tightest lace without trying. The black satin one seemed smaller in comparison… Finally, I returned for a MEDIUM in black mesh. I am able to easily lace it but still have some room to cinch down.
   That being said, I could probably have ordered a small, and will likely need to size down soon. If you are experienced with wearing corsets, you could likely go down 2-3 sizes from the natural waist on the chart. If wearing as an accessory, the natural size or one down would probably be closest to account for fabric allowance between clothing and the corset. Against the skin, the mesh is very comfortable to me and holds excellent structure. In my opinion, short corsets are the most practical and wearable and this one is the perfect length for being able to sit down without it digging into the hips. There’s a very defined fabric band at the centre that really facilitates a cinch. My only minor critique is I don’t like the laces and may replace them. However, it’s still a 5 star product as the lace holds it together just fine, they’re just really long. Be cautious with the front closures if you have a belly button ring. I have many other products from this brand and this corset is my favourite.
